02 Inside One room, and what is in it.
Bed, desk, kitchen. The mirror over the desk is angled so the sea stays in view while you work.
03 Sunrises Sunrises from the deck.
All taken from the same wooden boards, looking east. The sun comes up over open water, so it tends to put on a show.
04 Ships The ships that pass.
The shipping lanes run a few miles offshore. We do not seek them out — we just notice them. Identification is sometimes a guess.
05 The Sky Rain, and the moon.
The other things the sky does. A rainbow over a passing ship, and the full moon in a few of its colours.
06 Birds Birds within walking distance.
Fifteen species in this set, all photographed within a 1.5 kilometre walk of the bed. The full list keeps growing; this is what made the cut.
